Beach and Country Guild presented the 55th annual Dia del Sol benefit event titled “Fashion Fades But Style Is Eternal” on Oct. 23 at Park Hyatt Aviara Resort in Carlsbad. The annual champagne reception, luncheon, live and silent auction, and fashion show event raises funds to support United Cerebral Palsy of San Diego. This year’s event raised over $260,000.
The event’s children’s fashion show featured The Sasha Project LA (www.thesashaprojectla.org). ABC 10News in San Diego anchor Kimberly Hunt was the event’s emcee and its guest speaker was R.J. Mitte, best known for his portrayal of Walter “Flynn” White Jr. in the Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning dramatic thriller “Breaking Bad.”Visit www.beachandcountry.org for more information on the organization.
