Alyana Asistio marries non-showbiz boyfriend Bryan Mendoza

Alyana Asistio is now Mrs. Bryan Mendoza.

According to a report from Metro.Style, the wedding held in Dumaguete featured three events—a Catholic wedding, a Christian ceremony, and a brunch for guests—spread across Saturday, November 29, to Sunday, November 30.

The wedding ceremony and reception took place at the Mango Ranch Resorts and Events Place in Dumaguete, Negros Oriental.

Alyana Asistio LOOKs RADIANT AND IN LOVE

Netizens caught a glimpse of the special occasion through photos that Nice Print Photography shared on social media over the weekend.

The daughter of actress Nadia Montenegro and the late mayor of Caloocan, Boy Asistio Jr., wore an immaculate white gown with long sleeves.

Bryan, meanwhile, donned a beige-colored barong matched and a pair of brown trousers.

For the reception, Alyana changed into a sleeveless, sparkly white dress, while Bryan complemented her no-fuss look with a classic black-and-white suit.

ON BRYAN MENDOZA: “MY LIFE’S GREATEST SURPRISE”

Alyana announced her engagement to Bryan on February 16, 2025, after she shared a series of posts on her Instagram feed.

Accompanied by a photo showing her engagement ring, she wrote: “I always tell you that you’re the best decision I’ve ever made, and saying ‘yes’ to a lifetime with you would be the greatest answered prayer of my life.”

She also spoke about her faith in a separate post, thanking God for guiding and preparing her for the special moment.

Alyana remarked: “Thank You, Lord, for everything. I know You have been molding me into the best version of myself.

“The past 30 years may not have been the smoothest ride, but Your guidance has led me to this beautiful moment one of the greatest surprises I could ever imagine.”

She proudly mentioned that her fiancé would be her first kiss:

“Choosing purity with Bryan has been the hardest yet most meaningful commitment we’ve made to You, to ourselves, and to our parents.

“And now, I can finally say that the first time I kiss my future husband will be in front of You.”

Alyana appeared in several TV shows, including the Kapamilya series La Luna Sangre, The Promise of Forever, and On the Wings of Love.

Before joining ABS-CBN’s roster of talents, she worked with TV5 on The Sisters and My Driver, Sweet Lover.

She later transferred to GMA Network in late 2017, where she appeared in The World Between Us and The Seed of Love.

Alyana eventually pursued a career as a chef, studying Culinary Arts at the International School for Culinary Arts and Hotel Management.
