A Food Lion employee in Lancaster, South Carolina, spotted a car starting to fill with smoke in the parking lot around 2:45 p.m. The WCNC Charlotte viewer said all the doors were reportedly locked.
“We weren’t sure if anyone was in the smoke-filled car, so this Food Lion employee was unselfish and brave and did what he though was right,” the WCNC Charlotte viewer shared. “Luckily, no one was in the vehicle, and no one got hurt.”
“The gentleman that broke the window is a manager of that Food Lion,” the viewer said. “I felt a hero’s recognition was in order.”
