The Washington Commanders and quarterback Jayden Daniels dominated in taking a 14-0 halftime lead over the New Orleans Saints on Sunday at the Caesars Superdome.

Daniels, a rookie who won the Heisman Trophy last year while he was at LSU, was 17 of 19 passing for 141 yards with two touchdown passes to Terry McLaurin. Daniels also ran six times for 20 yards. But when Daniels wasn’t making a play he was being sacked by the Saints, as the defense brought him down five times.
