HUDSON, Wis.- For the second year in a row, Zach Hendrickson led the men’s golf team in competition at the CSP-MSU Fall Brawl. In the 2023-2024 season, Zach Hendrickson placed 3rd where he matched his then career-best of 71. This past weekend, Hendrickson led his team by placing 8th shooting 4-over par.
The Minot State men’s team placed in 5th shooting a team total of 592 (24-over par). Chase Gedak tied in 14th place shooting 5-over par. Winston Grayson finished tied for 23rd shooting 7-over par. Not far behind Grayson, Darien Herlick finished up tied for 28th after shooting 8-over par. Jace Carslisle finished in 56th place shooting 17-over par.
The men’s team finished behind Winona State, which finished in 4th place and shot a team total of 589 (21-over par).
Playing as individuals were Max Karnik, who placed in 14th shooting 6-over par and Gage Olson, who placed 74th shooting 28-over par.
On the women’s side, Holly Knudsen led the Beavers into 8th place shooting a team-total of 673. A consistent leader for the Beavers, Knudsen shot 17-over par. Following Knudsen was Jaci Jones who shot 25-over par placing in 25th. Zoe Banack finished tied for 39th place shooting 29-over par. Lauryn Keller finished in 45th place shooting 34-over par. Abigail Goettle finished tied in 58th place and shot 45-over par.
The women’s team finished behind Minnesota-Crookston, which placed 7th place and shot a team total of 668 (100-over par).
The Beavers will return to the greens on September 23rd and 24th at the Watkins Fall Invitational in Lake City, Minnesota.
