The Hmong American Community of Oregon brought together about 3,000 people Saturday to celebrate the Hmong New Year at Reynolds High School in Troutdale. The festivities, marking the 49th anniversary of the Hmong exodus from Laos and Thailand, featured music, dance, sports, traditional clothing and cultural rituals.
