LOS ANGELES – The 2025 women’s water polo schedule has been announced for the upcoming spring season. The Lions will begin their season on Jan. 18 at the Long Beach Mini Invite and play their home opener on Feb. 15 against UC San Diego.
LMU’s Burns Aquatics Center will be the host site for the 2025 Golden Coast Conference Championship. The conference tournament will be played Apr. 25-27 on LMU’s campus. Ticket information and additional information will be shared later in the season.
The second week of the season will be in Honolulu for the Hawaii Invite and then week three will be played at the Triton Invitational at San Diego.
The conference opener will be played at Azusa Pacific on Feb. 8.
Opening weekend at Burns Aquatics Center will open with the Tritons on Feb. 15 at noon, and Toronto the following day at 11:00 AM.
After a trip to Irvine for the Barbara Kalbus Invitational and to Pomona for Convergence to close out February.
Pacific comes to the Bluff on Mar. 7 for a 6:00 PM conference game under the lights. The weekend continues with a night game against Princeton on Mar. 8 and a 1:00 PM game on Sunday against California.
Following back-to-back road GCC games at Fresno State and Concordia, the Lions return home to close out March against Santa Clara and Whittier with a double-header on Mar. 29.
The final road game will be played at San Diego State on Apr. 12 before returning home to close out the regular season on Apr. 17 with an afternoon game against California Baptist.
The Lions are coming off a 27-3 season and a perfect 7-0 mark in conference play.
Outside of the GCC Championships, all home games are free for fans.
