Michael Sager said he is grateful to have a friend like Cassy Legaspi.
On Thursday’s episode of “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda,” the Sparkle star was asked about the state of his heart right now, to which he answered “It’s very happy.”
On his relationship status with Cassy, he said, “we have something special together.”
“Being friends from ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya,’ nag-co host po kami doon, to having a ‘Regal Studio Presents’ episode with her. It’s great being able to work with her, to have her as a friend,” Michael added.
The actor also talked about his relationship with Cassy’s parents, Carmina Villarroel and Zoren Legaspi, which he called a “blessing.”
“Si Tita Mina, I first worked with her sa ‘Abot Kamay [Na Pangarap],’ and then I didn’t know that we will have a close relationship together, same with Tito Z,” Michael said.
He also said that he considers Carmina and Zoren as “parent figures” because they always look out for him.
“I really appreciate that,” Michael said.
Michael and Cassy had already worked together on several hosting and dancing projects.
Their first acting project together, “Regal Studio Presents: Fishing for Love,” was directed by Cassy’s dad, Zoren.
Michael is set to star in the Philippine adaptation of “Shining Inheritance” with Kyline Alcantara, Kate Valdez, Paul Salas, and Coney Reyes.
The Korean drama series originally starred Lee Seung Gi, Han Hyo Joo, Moon Chae Won, and Bae Soo Bin.
It follows a woman from a rich family who suddenly loses everything after the death of her father.
