The Outlaw Music Festival is returning to Syracuse and, yes, Willie Nelson will be there.

Nelson’s touring festival will celebrate its 10th anniversary this year with a Sunday, Aug. 10, concert at the Empower Federal Credit Union Amphitheater at Lakeview. Scheduled performers include Willie Nelson & Family, Bob Dylan, the Turnpike Troubadours, The Red Clay Strays and Waylon Payne.

Tickets go on sale Friday, Feb. 7, at 10 a.m. via Live Nation. Prices have not been announced.

Fans may also want to check resellers like VividSeats, StubHub, TicketNetwork or SeatGeek for tickets.

Concertgoers will not be allowed to bring their own lawn chairs inside the venue. A limited number of lawn chair rentals are available.

Dylan performed at the Syracuse amphitheater last year for the Outlaw Music Festival, but Nelson canceled his appearance due to health issues. The 91-year-old music legend’s time slot was filled by his son, Lukas Nelson.

Nelson, a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Country Music Hall of Fame, has been performing for more than 70 years. The “On the Road Again” singer first launched the Outlaw Music Festival in 2016 and turned it into a touring event with different lineups.

Dylan, 83, is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame. He recently chronicled his life and career in the biopic “A Complete Unknown,” starring Timothee Chalamet.

The Turnpike Troubadours is a country/Americana band from Oklahoma.

The Red Clay Strays, from Alabama, went viral in 2023 with the hit song “Wondering Why.”

Waylon Payne is a country singer whose father, guitarist Jody Payne, performed with Willie Nelson and his mother, Grammy-winning singer Sammi Smith, toured with Waylon Jennings.
