It’s time to deck the halls and jingle some bells: The holiday season has officially begun.
Syracuse radio station Y94FM (WYYY-FM) switched to all Christmas music on Friday evening, changing its tune to “Syracuse’s Christmas Music Station.” It’s the third year in a row that Y94FM launched its seasonal format on the second Friday in November, but it’s a full 20 days before Thanksgiving because this year’s turkey holiday falls on the latest possible date, Nov. 28 (the fourth Thursday in November).
