The Washington women open up their spring schedule this Saturday morning as hosts of the annual Husky Open on Montlake Cut. Racing begins at 8:00 a.m. PT.
The regatta will feature only women’s races at the collegiate level (no college men’s races), as well as a full schedule of junior and masters races for boys and girls, men and women.

8:00 a.m. – Women’s Collegiate Varsity 8+
8:05 a.m. – Women’s Collegiate 2V8+
8:10 a.m. – Women’s Collegiate Open 8+
8:15 a.m. – Women’s Collegiate Novice 8+
8:20 a.m. – Women’s Collegiate Varsity 4+
8:25 a.m. – Women’s Collegiate 2V4+

The Husky women will compete in a series of races to begin the morning, then row back and race in the same categories all over again, with some of the crews changing lineups between the two flights. Crews from Oregon State and the University of British Columbia will also compete.
There will be no live video stream of the regatta.
After the Husky Open, the UW men and women’s teams will next compete at the 124th annual Class Day Regatta (an intrasquad event) March 22 at Montlake Cut. Following that, the women resume their competitive schedule March 29 at the San Diego Crew Classic. After Class Day, the men travel to Sarasota, Fla., March 28-29 to face Harvard in a dual regatta, before competing in the Sarasota Invitational on the 29th.
