The future of a care home that was threatened with closure has been secured after a year of uncertainty.

Ashley Court Residential Care Home, which was purpose built for adults with physical disabilities, was at risk of shutting when housing provider Amplius said in April 2025 it could no longer continue running the premises.

Lincolnshire County Council confirmed a new owner had been found with the home being taken over by another provider, Annicare.

Councillor Steve Clegg said: “I know this news will be a great relief to those living at Ashley Court, and their families, and I’d like to thank them all for the patience they have shown at an incredibly difficult time.”
