A fashion show at a luxury auto dealership in Langley City will help redefine beauty.

In Her Shoes takes place Friday, April 24 at the Audi dealership, with a goal of raising $160,000 as well as spreading awareness.

The Sources Foundation hosts the charity fashion show that has the theme of redefining beauty, celebrating authenticity, resilience and diverse backgrounds of women.

“In Her Shoes is a reflection of what community looks like when people come together with intention,” said event co-chairs Sara Forte and Jennine Cook. “This year, we are also inviting people to rethink what beauty looks like. It’s about creating a non-judgemental space for women to be seen, supported and celebrated, while raising the funds needed to sustain these essential services.”

Sources Women’s Place, a free drop-in centre for women and their children navigating crisis, poverty and gender-based violence, located in South Surrey.

Over the past year, Women’s Place recorded more than 4,000 visits and served over 3,600 meals, a significant increase from the year before. Many women accessing the space are facing unstable housing and isolation, with some relying on the centre for their primary hot meal of the day.

Hosted by Virgin Radio’s Nira Arora, the show will feature clients, staff and volunteers on the runway in outfits curated by couture sponsor Turnabout Luxury Resale. The runway will highlight real women and real stories. Guests will also enjoy bites from Lodge Steakhouse, Via Tavola, Sweet Avenue Bakery and other local partners.

Tickets are $195 and available online at Trellis.org/InHerShoes2026. More than 200 people are expected to attend the event that runs 6 to 9 p.m. on April 24, at 5955 Collection Dr. just off the Langley Bypass. The community can also support the foundation with donations of silent auction items. For more information, visit SourcesFoundation.ca/In-Her-Shoes.

“This will be my second In Her Shoes as president and CEO, and what continues to stay with me are the stories told directly by the women about their experiences and healing,” says David Macintyre, with the Sources Foundation. “This event continues to remind us that beauty is not defined by appearance alone, but by strength, courage and the journey each person carries. Our team at Women’s Place shows up every day with compassion and care, walking alongside women through some of the most difficult moments in their lives.”

The Sources Foundation supports the work of Sources which operates an accredited food bank in Langley. Established in 1978, Sources Community Resources Society (SOURCES) is an internationally accredited not-for-profit social services agency.
