Taylor Swift was seen supporting the New York Knicks courtside at Madison Square Garden for Game 4 of the NBA Finals, while Sydney Sweeney went largely unnoticed

Taylor Swift captured attention as she supported the New York Knicks.

The 36-year-old, who is set to marry Travis Kelce, had a courtside seat alongside Mariska Hargitay and the Haim Sisters on Wednesday, June 10, as the New York Knicks faced the San Antonio Spurs in Game 4 of the NBA Finals. The Knicks defeated the Spurs 107-106 in what became the biggest comeback in finals history.

Clips of Taylor watching the match and celebrating the remarkable victory have spread rapidly across social media, although many viewers overlooked Euphoria actress Sydney Sweeney’s presence at the game with her partner Scooter Braun. Taylor was captured speaking with her friends, wearing her custom Knicks T-shirt, while Sydney glanced around as she awaited the game’s start. It follows the actress defending her Euphoria character’s brazen decisions.

In one clip posted on X, Taylor appeared energetic in her courtside position. Sydney was visible seated seven rows behind with Scooter, though they didn’t seem to be engaging with each other.

Responding to the footage, Swifties were quick to highlight the uncomfortable moment where Taylor appeared to eclipse Sydney. “DID ANYONE NOTICE SCO**ER AND S**EY BEHIND????? LOL,” one individual posted.

“I want to know if Taylor knew Scooter was behind her….. I also bet Scooter was miserable w/ her being there!! ” Ha ha,” another person speculated. A third Taylor supporter remarked, “I’m so glad they’re not on the same seat.”

Another individual questioned, “Why am I just noticing Sc**** Br*** behind her,” while someone else remarked, “They’re not sitting next to her, we cheer.”

One X user stated, “Sydney Sweeney and scooter braun right behind the railing looking like a bunch of fugly losers.” Taylor was greeted enthusiastically at Madison Square Garden when Knicks supporters applauded her appearance on the Jumbotron.

Taylor is known to be a devoted Knicks supporter and even sported a distinctive orange-and-blue “Stevie Knicks” T-shirt – honoring both the team and musician Stevie Nicks.

Stevie is a trusted friend and adviser to Taylor, making the shirt’s message particularly meaningful. Supporters appreciated the wordplay and flocked to X to express their reactions to Taylor’s clothing choice.

Taylor Swift in a STEVIE KNICKS shirt….that is the most Taylor thing ever,” one X user observed. “That shirt probably sold out in five minutes,” another predicted after spotting Taylor in it.

A third supporter noted, “Taylor Swift wearing a Stevie Nicks shirt? Legend supporting legend,” while another declared, “Need that shirt immediately.” Including a crying laughing emoji, one X user remarked, “The pun game is too strong with this one.”

This follows news that Taylor and Travis are reportedly set to tie the knot at Madison Square Garden on July 3. The news has not yet been confirmed.
