The promo for ABC’s 9-1-1 season 9, episode 17 promises that fans are in store for two crazy final episodes. Episode 17, “I Got You Babe,” will air on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 8pm ET/PT.

“I Got You Babe” Plot: Buck is faced with his past after an electrical emergency call. Meanwhile, Maddie learns to navigate her working relationships now that she has become a supervisor.

Angela Bassett stars as Athena Grant, Jennifer Love Hewitt is Maddie Han, Oliver Stark is Evan “Buck” Buckley, and Kenneth Choi is Howie “Chimney” Han. Aisha Hinds plays Henrietta “Hen” Wilson, Ryan Guzman is Eddie Diaz, and Gavin McHugh plays Christopher Diaz.

The series explores the high-pressure experiences of first responders—including police officers, firefighters, and dispatchers—who are thrust into the most frightening, shocking, and heart-stopping conditions. These emergency responders must try to balance saving those who are at their most vulnerable with solving the problems in their own lives.
