Concord Hospitality, a hotel management and development company operating more than 140 hotels across North America, has promoted Craig Haas from area director of operations to regional vice president of lifestyle and luxury hotels.

In his new role, Haas will report directly to SVP of operations, Ben Haller, and oversee Concord Hospitality’s portfolio of more than 30 lifestyle and boutique hotels.

“I’m very excited to take on this new role as regional vice president of lifestyle and luxury hotels,” said Haas. “As the industry is increasingly driven by luxury, experience-led hospitality, I am focused on understanding each property’s unique character and delivering anticipatory customer service while also continuing to drive personalization in a way that puts people, culture and experience first.”

Haas’ journey in hospitality began working as a server and bartender. Then, he advanced his career with Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, holding senior leadership roles that supported flagship openings and brand development across multiple luxury and lifestyle properties. He joined Concord Hospitality in January 2018 as part of the Hyatt Centric Brickell opening team.

“Craig’s appointment as regional vice president of lifestyle and luxury hotels represents a strategic investment in one of the fastest-growing and most dynamic segments of our portfolio,” said Will Loughran, COO of Concord Hospitality. “As we continue to expand our presence in the full-service sector, Craig’s deep expertise in delivering elevated, experience-driven hospitality will be instrumental in strengthening our lifestyle and luxury offerings, enhancing guest satisfaction and driving long-term value for our owners and partners.”
