Just You has added a new May 2027 departure for its recently launched ‘The Silk Road: Legends of the Five Stans’ tour after more than half of available places sold within four weeks of going on sale.
The specialist solo escorted tour operator originally introduced the 21-day itinerary in April with departures scheduled for April and September 2027.
The tour, part of the operator’s Max 20 collection, takes in destinations across Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. This line limits group sizes to 20 customers, offering customers a more personalised trip.
Packages start from £7,499 per person and include return flights, daily breakfast and selected meals, overseas transfers, accommodation with a guaranteed twin or double room for every guest, and the services of a Just You holiday director.
The 2027 departures are set for 22 April, 20 May and 9 September, flying from London Gatwick via Istanbul to Ashgabat. Guests will always have their own rooms for the full 21 nights, with no single supplements.
Highlights include a tour of Samarkand, a visit to the UNESCO-listed Sarazm ruins, a journey through the Shahristan Tunnel and wine tasting at the Khovrenko winery. The route, which spans five countries, starts in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan and visits Darvaza, Khiva, Bukhara, Samarkand, Dushanbe, Khujand, Tashkent, Bishkek, Chon Kemin, Karakol and Almaty, Kazakhstan.
Just You Marketing Director Charlotte Field said demand for the itinerary had exceeded expectations since its launch in early April.
She added: “The itinerary combines well-known cultural highlights with places many travellers may not have considered visiting before, and the smaller group size allows customers to explore at a comfortable pace while getting to know fellow solo travellers along the way.”
