If you were hanging out in downtown Palm Springs on Wednesday, May 27, you might find yourself in the background of a future film.
About 20 production crew members were spotted filming for an upcoming film titled “Youth Juice,” an on-site employee told The Desert Sun. Shooting was concentrated around the area of West Chino Drive, Belardo Road, West Alejo Road and North Palm Canyon Drive.
In one scene that was filmed, two unidentified actresses were driving a yellow convertible, which was being pulled forward by a truck. A Palm Springs Police escort was also driving ahead of the two vehicles along West Chino Drive.
Several trailers were also parked in the downtown area along with equipment.
Details about the project have not been released yet, but a recent casting call was seeking senior background actors to portray neighborhood residents.
