His representative has confirmed that the Sherry hitmaker is “looking forward” to performing again when he can. They told People magazine: “[Frankie has] had some tough times, but he’s getting through them, and he’s improving. He is looking forward to being back on the road, and he is not retired.” Frankie also confirmed the news himself with a statement on Instagram. “In spite of what you might have heard, I am not retired,” it read.
Back in June, the singer cancelled all the upcoming dates of his highly anticipated 2026 tour due to ongoing health issues.
The Four Seasons frontman, who launched a singing career in 1951, left fans devastated after the announcement revealed he will now be “focusing on his health”.
Addressing the end of his Last Encore tour, Frankie penned: “I’m so sorry to disappoint the folks who have purchased tickets to my shows, but I have decided to take the rest of the year off from touring to focus on my health.”
The musician went on to reveal that he hopes to return to the stage, adding: “I’m looking forward to getting healthy and seeing you all again soon. Thank you for all your good wishes.”
His brother, Bobby, recently fuelled retirement rumours as he wrote online: “My brother Frankie whom I am so proud of an love him dearly. He has had a wonderful life a dream come true.
“He is an incredible singer. Has had a magnificent career in music an icon a living legend. He had millions of fans who love him dearly.(sic)”
Bobby went on to list some of the Walk Like a Man singer’s achievements, including an induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and selling over 100 million records.
He added: “He has been performing for six decades. He will now retire.
“We will always have special memories of Frankie Valli. He has reached a place in his life where his family is there to love, cherish and to be there for him. We appreciate your love and concern.”
