Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been furiously told to “go back to Montecito” after switching their children’s school due to security concerns. Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet have been pulled from their new prep school just days into the term “following a discussion with the family’s security team about the practicalities of their current arrangements”, according to a spokesperson for the couple.
Good Morning Britain covered the news on ITV this morning, but viewers were fuming over the complaint from the Sussexes. It was explained on the show: “It’s a security concern that obviously could not wait, so they’ve moved the children while the wider question of police protection is reviewed.
“Archie and Lilibet had barely started their new school in England, they’d been going for just a couple of days, and already they’re moving to another. It seems that the heavy traffic and the lengthy school run raised concerns about the security team’s ability to actually protect the children on the journey to school each day.
“There was reportedly a specific incident where their vehicles struggled to stay together in convoy, adding to concerns about how safely the school run could actually be managed.”
Somebody else agreed: “This was the ploy from Harry and Megan all along. I feel sorry for the other children and families at the school who they have upset by this stunt. They are NOT working royals and are not entitled to taxpayer-funded security.”
And a third argued: “Traffic or the world cannot stop turning because of Harry or Megan! The UK traffic has always been busy on the school run! LITERALLY EVERY PARENT’S NIGHTMARE not just theirs!”
