David Beckham has shared a heartbreaking nod to his son Brooklyn, amid their feud.
Last month, Brooklyn – who is the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham – released an explosive statement on his Instagram stories, stating that he will “not reconcile with [his] family”, and claiming that David and Victoria are “trying endlessly to ruin [his] relationship.”
Throughout the past year, rumours had been rife that Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz-Beckham, had grown distant from his parents, former footballer David and Spice Girls singer Victoria.

David and Victoria have refrained from publicly commenting on the rift. However, David has now chosen to share a subtle nod to his estranged son.
On Friday, the Manchester United alum took to his Instagram stories to post several snaps of his old football boots, which he has taken the time to “archive” into plastic boxes.
In one of the photos, which showcases hundreds of pairs of boots, fans were quick to spot a pair that had the names of David’s three sons – Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz – stitched onto their side.
Another pair of boots appeared to solely be dedicated to Brooklyn, as his name was stitched in big white letters against a red background.

Although David did not directly acknowledge his sons’ names on his boots, the sports star did express how much he was enjoying his trip down memory lane.
“And there’s still 20 more boxes of boots to go ❤️ Can’t wait to start on the shirts ❤️,” David penned at the end of his posts.
David’s emotional post comes after it was recently reported that Brooklyn has erased tattoo tributes that he had for his father.
The 26-year-old used to have the word “Dad” written through a big anchor tattoo on his upper right arm.

The remark “Love you Bust,” which was David’s cute moniker for his firstborn, was right underneath.
However, photos obtained by The Sun appeared to show that Brooklyn has lasered off the tribute.
According to the newspaper, Brooklyn has altered his anchor to only display three unremarkable forms. Additionally, his father’s nickname for him is less noticeable and faded.
