Cross-Channel train operator Eurostar is advising passengers to cancel plans to travel between the UK and the Netherlands at least until Saturday (4 July).

It said fire damage to the railway near Rotterdam has caused severe disruption to its train services.

“We’re running a limited number of trains between London and Amsterdam on 03 July 2026,” it said in a statement on its website.

“Unfortunately, no train can stop at Rotterdam at this time. We’re currently reviewing our timetable for 04 July 2026, and we’ll provide a firmer update as soon as possible.

“Trains running between France/Belgium and Amsterdam will not stop at Schiphol or Rotterdam until at least 04 July 2026.

“As these trains need to take an alternative route around the damaged area, journey times will be significantly longer, and seat availability is very limited.

“We strongly advise that you postpone or cancel plans where possible. Exchanges can be made for free and full refunds are available. We apologise for the inconvenience the situation has caused.”
