TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Local food trucks and craft vendors are set up in the parking lot of Governor’s Square Mall this weekend for FoodeesFest.
One vendor, Layla Sims, says events like these help small business grow and reach their goals.
“People don’t realize how many small businesses need help, and the people that support small businesses help them grow,” Sims says.

People from all across the Big Bend and South Georgia drove to Tallahassee Friday to show their support for local businesses on the first day of the event.
Kelly Brooks from Valdosta says it’s important to show up for these business.
“You should always support local businesses, these food trucks are amazing and there’s just so many,” Brooks says. “You just got to come out and support these vendors.”
The event is free to attend and is happening Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m..
