Kimberly Wyatt has hinted that the Pussycat Dolls’ comeback tour could be their “last”.
The 44-year-old singer is joining Nicole Scherzinger and Ashley Roberts on the road, but the trio were forced to scrap 33 dates in their native U.S. due to disappointing sales.
They’re due to kick off the European leg of the jaunt in Denmark on September 9, which will conclude in London on October 13, and Kimberly has how given an interview in which she appears to have given a disappointing update about the reunited group’s future.
She told the Daily Mail: “I think going on stage knowing it could be your last is something really special because you don’t miss any of those moments.
“I think we’re all in that same headspace about this and we are able to kind of tackle it as grown women.”
Kimberly added that she and her bandmates don’t feel as though they’re trying to “prove ourselves”, explaining: “It’s really about just embracing the fact that we did something really awesome together and that nostalgia factor is still there.
“It’s another opportunity to show up for each other and come together as the three and be really mindful of you just never know when your last performance might be.”
Kimberly also reflected on how she felt having reteamed with Nicole and Ashley after such a long time.
She replied: “I mean, a lot of life has passed. Like it’s just unbelievable to have lived so much life since.
“I’ve created a new life for myself with my husband and my three kids in Surrey to have a dance academy, doing radio and DJing.
“Like I’ve sort of lived this whole new life. This tour is about being really open about who we are and who we’ve become after all of these years, but also just a real acceptance for giving us the space to kind of re rework what this means to us.”
