Sad news for moviegoers in the Twin Ports. Lakes 10 Cinema on Stebner Road in Hermantown has announced it will be closing their doors on Sunday, April 19. The announcement was made to the public on Thursday.
In a statement, Marcus Lakes Cinema said:
We have some news for our valued loyalty members in the Hermantown area. Lakes Cinema will be showing movies for the final time on Sunday, April 19, 2026. We hope you’ll plan one more visit with us. Thank you for your support over the years – we have enjoyed being part of this community.

The announcement added that Duluth Cinema at 300 Harbor Drive in Duluth is another option for movie fans to earn points and redeem rewards.
