MINOT, N.D. (KMOT) – North Dakota Travel and Tourism Week kicks off May 3-9.
This year’s national theme is “Postmarked: Essential,” highlighting the importance of travel in local communities.
Tourism is one of North Dakota’s largest industries.
Data from 2024 shows about 26 million visitors spent $3.4 billion dollars in the state.
Earlier this year we reported tourism is down across the country.
Still, state leaders said events like Tourism Week are the kind of push the industry needs.
