Prince William has made a surprise appearance with Travis Kelce, just HOURS before the latter’s wedding to Taylor Swift.
While the couple have not confirmed any wedding plans, rumours are rife that singer Taylor and NFL player Travis will exchange vows in an over-the-top celebration at Madison Square Garden on Friday.
Ahead of his nuptials, sports star Travis has now surprised fans by making an appearance with Prince William.
On Friday, the New Heights podcast – the sports show which Travis hosts with his brother, Jason Kelce – took to social media to confirm that the future monarch will be the next guest on their show.
The episode, which has been pre-recorded via Zoom, sees Travis and Jason give an excited introduction to their royal guest by listing all of his official titles.
Once they are finished, Prince William teases: “That is quite an intro, guys! Amazing.”
The episode will arrive on streaming platforms at 12pm EST, meaning that it will debut at 6pm in the UK and Ireland.
This is not the first time that Travis and Prince William have been in each other’s company.
Travis first met William in June 2024, when the royal accompanied two of his children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, to Taylor’s Eras Tour concert at Wembley Stadium.
The royals were treated to a moment backstage with Taylor and Travis, who had been dating for around a year at the time.
The group snapped a few photos together, with both Kensington Palace and Taylor sharing the images to Instagram.
“Happy Bday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start 🇬🇧🇺🇸🤝 ,” Taylor penned in her caption, referring to the fact that it was also Prince William’s birthday.
In May, Prince William fuelled speculation that he and his wife, Kate Middleton, had been invited to Taylor and Travis’ wedding.
When asked during an interview on radio programme Heart Breakfast, he replied with a smile: “No comment.”
“I’m hoping, and I’m sure there might be an invitation around, but we’ll see,” he added, noting that his young daughter Charlotte is “obsessed” with Taylor’s music.
A few weeks later, sources told PEOPLE in June that William and Kate would not be attending the lavish New York wedding.
Despite the royals not being in attendance, Taylor and Travis’ wedding will still be abuzz with plenty of A-listers.
