Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate, Whitney Chukwu, aka Nomy, has been disqualified from the reality show for several reasons, the organisers say.

Big Brother announced Nomy’s disqualification on Monday night during the ‘Show Ya Sef’ season and directed her to leave the house immediately.

According to the announcement, the decision followed Nomy’s repeated disregard for Big Brother’s instructions and the rules of the house.

Nomy had earlier received a strike and a final warning from Big Brother for repeatedly defying his instructions.

Her conduct in the house was characterised by repeated disobedience, lateness to mandatory activities and selective participation in tasks and activities required of all housemates.

She was also punished for previous rule violations, including being directed to separate beans from rice as part of Big Brother’s disciplinary measures.

The sanction came after Big Brother reviewed her conduct and reminded all housemates that compliance with his instructions was mandatory.

Despite the earlier strike, final warning, and other punishments, Nomy continued to disregard Big Brother’s directives and violate the house rules, leading to her disqualification, according to the organisers.

Her exit ends her participation in the Season 11 edition of the reality show.

The season premiered on July 26 with 24 housemates. The contestants are competing for a grand prize of N160 million.

Nomy’s disqualification makes her one of the housemates whose journey has ended through disciplinary action rather than the regular eviction process.
