Award season energy took over Los Angeles this week as stars gathered for the 2026 BET Awards and a packed lineup of events leading into Culture’s Biggest Night. Between red carpets, live performances, exclusive brunches, and behind-the-scenes conversations, there was no shortage of memorable appearances from some of entertainment’s most notable names.
The BET Awards brought together Teyana Taylor, Janet Jackson, Cardi B, Kehlani, Tems, Doechii, Yung Miami, Martin Lawrence, and many more for an evening celebrating Black excellence. Earlier in the weekend, BET Experience kept fans entertained with performances from Mariah the Scientist and Yung Miami, while BET Media House welcomed Tyla, Lucky Daye, Master P, Eva Marcille, Jozzy, Lex P and Drea Nicole of Pour Minds, Kym Whitley, Kenny Burns, and BET President Louis Carr for exclusive interviews. Elsewhere in Los Angeles, Culture Creators honored innovators during its annual awards brunch, drawing guests including Janelle James and Cortez Bryant. Outside California, Colman Domingo made an appearance at Frameline in San Francisco, while Zendaya stepped out in London for the Spider-Man: Brand New Day photocall.
