DESPITE THE RAIN on Sunday, February 8, Sydneysiders stepped out in their chicest festival fits for Laneway. Held in Centennial Park, the 2026 lineup included PinkPantheress, Chappell Roan and Role Model, the latter even joined on stage by The Wiggles for a surprise performance of Sally When The Wine Runs Out.
Wet weather dressing was embraced rather than avoided, with boots grounding micro hemlines, jorts and layers of lived-in denim across the crowd. Indie sleaze undertones met Y2K nostalgia, signalling festival fashion’s confident return to maximalism.
