Dressed in modernized traditional Filipino attire, guests gathered at the RIHGA Royal Laguna Guam Resort on Aug. 1 for the Iloilo International of Guam’s officer and board of directors’ induction ceremony.
This community group brings together Filipino-Americans and families from the Philippine province of Iloilo. Its newly elected officers and board of directors will serve a two-year term through 2028.
Iloilo International, established in 2008, is a member association of the Filipino Community of Guam, the umbrella organization of 20 Filipino groups on the island.
The president of Iloilo International is Franc Huelar, who is also the third vice president for the FCG.
