This quirky documentary captures how Rhode Island artist Michael Townsend and his friends created an artist compound and hidden apartment inside Providence Place Mall, where they went undetected for almost four years when they were caught in 2007. The documentary, which was directed by Jeremy Workmen, features real footage Townsend filmed at the time, giving insight into the scrappy, DIY nature of those early aughts.
