Three people went home on the latest episode of “American Idol.”
Season 24’s Top 12 episode, “Judges’ Song Contest,” aired Monday, April 6. The night kicked off with two eliminations and, after the Top 12 contestants took the stage, ended with one more.
Here’s who went home.

Who got eliminated on ‘American Idol’ last night?
Last week, host Ryan Seacrest didn’t reveal the results of the Top 14 in a last-minute twist. So, the episode started with those eliminations.
Julian Kalel, a 19-year-old from El Paso, Texas, was voted off. Jake Thistle, a 21-year-old from Paramus, New Jersey, was also eliminated.
Then, the remaining 12 contestants performed ’90s hits secretly chosen by the judges, Carrie Underwood, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan.
19-year-old Jesse Findling from Massapequa Park, New York, was sent home at the end of last night’s episode.
Findling and Rae were in the bottom two after America voted. Richie, who won the judges’ song contest, got to save one of them. He chose Rae, sending Findling back to New York.
