MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Skylar Forbes is set to hit the international circuit while representing Team Canada, when the West Virginia senior forward travels to Chile to compete in the 2026 FIBA 3×3 Nations League Americas Conference from June 27-July 3.
Forbes is no stranger to representing her country, as she played for Team Canada at the FIBA 3×3 Women’s Series in Vienna in 2025 and as a member of the U18 Canadian National team in 2022.
The transfer from Marquette has scored 1,075 career points, averaging 11.8 points per game, to go along with 446 rebounds and a 4.9 per game mark. She adds 156 assists, 88 steals and 138 blocks across three seasons. Last year, Forbes was named to the All-Big East Conference first team and a defensive team selection.
Canada opens play at the FIBA U23 3×3 Nations League 2026 on Saturday, June 27, against host Chile. Tipoff is scheduled for 3:20 p.m. ET. All games will stream live on the FIBA 3×3 YouTube Channel.

3×3 is played on a half court with a 10-minute clock and a 12-second shot clock. The first team to 21 points, or the team in the lead at the end of regulation, is the winner.
