White Pines event aims to build community connections through cultural celebration
You’re invited to celebrate cultural diversity, community connection, and shared experiences with White Pines.
The White Pines Culture Fair, taking place May 7 from 4:30-7:30 p.m., will feature cultural displays, student-led presentations, performances, and interactive activities that reflect the rich diversity of the White Pines community.
Attendees of all ages are invited to a lineup or activities and experiences, such as:
- Cultural booths representing countries from around the world showcasing various cultural groups within our school community.
- Engaging performances showcasing diverse traditions, music and more
- A variety of food and drink prepared by the school’s Foods and Nutrition classes and community partners
- Interactive activities educating about various cultures along with Kahoot games offering exciting prizes
- Community booths offering valuable local information and resources
- The Pinery will be open offering Sweetened Chocolates
- We will also offer an area with activities available for younger children to join in on the fun as well.

The White Pines community warmly invites residents of Sault Ste. Marie to attend the upcoming White Pines Culture Fair, an evening dedicated to celebrating cultural diversity, community connection, and shared experiences.
This event will welcome families and community members into the school for an evening of discovery and celebration. The fair will feature cultural displays, student-led presentations, performances, and interactive activities that reflect the rich diversity of the White Pines community. The event has become a cherished tradition, promoting inclusion, global awareness, and meaningful connections among students, staff, and families. Special guests and giveaways are a new part of the event!
Attendees of all ages can look forward to a vibrant lineup of activities and experiences, including:
