ITHACA, N.Y. — No. 43 Middle Tennessee (16-6) travels to New York to face No. 34 Cornell (10-2) on Sunday, March 22, at 10 a.m. CT (11 a.m. ET). 

 Cornell leads the all-time series 2-0, with the most recent meeting resulting in a 4-2 win for the Big Red during the 2023-24 season in Murfreesboro. 

About Middle Tennessee 

Senior Karim Al-Amin earned his first Conference USA Athlete of the Week honor this season. He holds a 14-2 singles record and a 13-3 mark in doubles play. 

 Junior Birtan Duran is 10-4 in singles and 5-3 in doubles, while senior Ondrej Horak owns a 12-5 singles record. 

 The doubles pair of Horak and Al-Amin is ranked No. 83 nationally by the ITA. 

About Cornell 

Rodrigo Fernandes, who is ranked No. 80 nationally in singles with an 18-7 record. 

Head coach Silviu Tănăsescu is in his 13th season leading the Big Red program.
