It is not too early to register to be part of Art Sunday in Scottsboro. This event is one of the area’s favorite annual festivals. The Scottsboro Three Arts Club invites artists to bring their original works of art on Sunday, Sept. 6, to King Caldwell Park in Scottsboro, located at 1004 S. Broad St., Scottsboro. It is time to register for Space Camp/Robotics Camp at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville. August spots are filling up fast, and sessions for 2027 beginning in May are already available for registration. Ages 9-11 are invited to learn to use robotic technology to create engineering solutions for real-world problems. Trainees work as a team to build and test their own designs in air, land and sea challenges. The week culminates with contests as trainees test the robots they spent the week building, programming and testing. The curriculum includes an educational movie or show in either the INTUITIVE Planetarium or National Geographic Theater.
