Simone Ashley hits the carpet in an illusory nudity look for the at the 2026 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 4) in New York City.
The 31-year-old Bridgerton star wore a gorgeous outfit made of draped chains for her third appearance at the annual event.
What is Simone Ashley wearing?
Simone is wearing an outfit that created the illusion she was fully nude and draped entirely in silver chains, it was designed by Stella McCartney.
For her hair, she rocked sideswept micro bangs with a tassel updo. She also had on diamond earrings and bracelets and silver platform shoes.
Per the brand, “the dress is constructed from 70% repurposed Falabella chains and threads sourced from the Stella McCartney London atelier,” shares Town & Country.
What was this year’s Met Gala theme?
The Met Gala is the biggest night in fashion every year and you can expect hundreds of A-List celebrities to be in attendance. The gala is celebrating the Met’s Costume Art exhibition, which “explores the ‘centrality of the dressed body’ through depictions and interpretations of the human form in the Met’s extensive collection.” The dress code this year is “Fashion is Art” and the co-chairs for the gala are Beyonce, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and former Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
