This season, for Spring/Summer 2027, the runways offered us tons of ideas for spicing up our accessory rotation—swapping big beads for petite options, adding fringed cumberbunds to every look, and bringing back the headbands we wore during the early aughts, to name a few. These CPHFW-approved accessory trends prove that accessories don’t have to be loud or overbearing. Rather, they’re small tweaks that make a big impact, adding personality and polish to every kind of outfit.

Fringed Cummerbunds

But, the designers at Copenhagen Fashion Week made it feel fresh for Spring/Summer 2027 by introducing us to the fringed cummerbunds. Whether in the form of a silk scarf tied around the waist or in proper cumberbund form (thank you, By Malene Birger), the style breaks up an outfit and adds a touch of fun.

Many of the brands that showed in Copenhagen leaned into brown, see-through lenses, grounding outfits while adding an edge factor.
Headbands

On the Spring/Summer 2027 runways in Copenhagen, both big and small headbands made an appearance. Most came in neutral shades—black and white, notably—and added a sleekness to updos.
You’ve likely heard of (or even experimented with) oversized earrings. But for Spring/Summer 2027, they were taken to new heights. On the runways, models adorned chin-grazing earrings that took up almost half the face. These eye-catching styles draw the attention upward, and while we’re always focused on the clothes, this may be a Scandi style hack for drawing attention to the face.
