The Syracuse track and field teams near the close of their regular season this weekend, taking on the East Coast Relays, hosted by North Florida and Princeton’s Larry Ellis Invitational.

Orange Entries:

Emeline Clark will open the meet for the Orange in the 400-meter hurdles at 5:45 p.m., followed 20 minutes later by Elijah Mallard in the men’s event.

Indie Wallace-Persaud, Nicea Jones, Sierra Joseph and Shayla Ford are all entered in the 200-meter dash at 6:25 p.m. to end Friday’s competition.

Saturday begins with the 110-meter hurdles at 11:30 a.m. Isaiah Hayes and Jamir Brown will both race in the opening heat. Clark, Peyton Rollins and Tia Outlaw will race in the 100-meter hurdles at 11:50 a.m. The top-nine competitors from each event will advance to the finals later in the afternoon.

Ford will race in her second event of the weekend, the 400-meter dash, at 1:55 p.m.

Wallace-Persaud will race one hour later in the 100-meter dash to wrap up the ‘Cuse competitors in the meet.

Selma Anderson, Carmen Luisi, Emma Eastman and Jayden Harberts will open the meet in the 1,500-meter run at 6:20 p.m.

The men’s 1,500-meter run will be at 6:45 p.m., with Drew Zundell, Ben Gabelman, Peter Walsdorf, Assaf Harari, Charles Guerrera, Ruben Rojas Betanzos, Asher Danielson, Connor Ackley and Louis Small all set to run.

At 7 p.m. Mackenzie Cook will take on the 3,000-meter steeplechase, before Julian Franjieh races in the same event 25 minutes later.

Friday’s racing concludes with the 5,000-meters. The women will run Sarah Lawson and Beatriz Fernandes at 7:50 p.m., followed by Connell Alford, Omar Alsaidi, Tristan Thurneysen and Andrew Walton at 8:10 p.m.

Saturday will see Madline Heintz and Gretta Johnson take on the 1,500-meter run at 12:20 p.m.
