Dear Gossips,
A week ago at this time we were talking about Megan Thee Stallion, after she revealed that she and Klay Thompson had broken up and put him on blast for being a f-ckass loser. It was later announced that she would be leaving Moulin Rouge! The Musical about three weeks earlier than originally planned, with her final performance scheduled for this past Saturday night.
During curtain call, Meg let her fans know how grateful she is to them for holding her down, a different energy from the raw emotion that she was trying to hold back last weekend when she was clearly dealing with the betrayal and disappointment in real time.
Megan Thee Stallion gives a speech at her final show, “The love I received from the Hotties, I’m so grateful and appreciative, bitch I don’t even have time to be sad” IKTFR!! đđœ She’s gonna be just fine as alwaysâ€ïž What an incredible first run! Happy Megan Day!

And she had even more support as she closed out her run, in the form of Cardi B, who showed up to see Meg and also posted about the experience later on social media. Meg and Cardi go way back, and Meg recently made a surprise appearance at the Houston stop of Cardiâs Little Miss Drama tour, joining her to give her hometown crowd a performance of âWAPâ in 2026. Cardi, obviously, would be able to empathise with Meg on a deeper level, having been through so much bullsh-t herself with the men in her life.
Both Meg and Cardi are on one of the rumoured Met Gala guest lists going around the last few days. Maybe they can get started on that tonight. There was a post that went semi-viral last week suggesting that Meg and Michael B Jordan should be a thing. Heâs on that rumoured guest list too.
Weâll have highlights from the Met Gala here on the site tomorrow. Also ETALK is live-streaming on YouTube and Crave as soon as the carpet closes. Join us if youâre staying up!
Yours in gossip,
Lainey
