With no international game on the regular season schedule, the Green Bay Packers have a favorable away schedule in terms of travel coming up in 2026. Per Bill Speros of Bookies.com, only four teams will fly fewer miles during the Packers during the regular season.
The Packers are scheduled to travel roughly 12,673 miles for road games, ranking as the 28th most in the NFL in 2026. Only the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (12,185), Chicago Bears (10,676), Cleveland Browns (9,073) and Carolina Panthers (8,740) will travel less.
The Packers, who get nine home games in 2026, will play only five road games with travel over 1,500 miles: at Los Angeles, at Tampa Bay, at New Orleans, at New England and at New York. The only time the Packers will jump multiple time zones is the trip to Los Angeles, where the Packers will likely be well represented by a traveling fan base in California.
Three times, the Packers will play a road game in their same time zone, including the trip to New Orleans. The flights to Detroit, New York, New England and Tampa Bay will take the Packers to the Eastern Time Zone. Los Angeles is the only West Coast trip. Other than playing the Rams, the furthest west the Packers will go is Minneapolis.
Other teams weren’t so fortunate. For instance, the Rams (34,867) and San Francisco 49ers (38,105) will travel roughly three times as many miles as the Packers in 2026. And 12 different teams are scheduled to travel at least 20,000 miles.
The full schedule for the Packers will arrive on Thursday. The one thing to watch is when the Rams game (which will likely be a primetime game or standalone game) falls on the schedule, and who the Packers play before and after.
