Every summer brings its defining color of the season. After lemon yellow dominated the fashion scene last summer, turquoise blue is now taking its turn in the spotlight. Also known as Tiffany Blue, after the iconic Tiffany & Co. boxes, this shade is currently everywhere. Hailey Bieber was one of the first to popularize it in the world of street style. In May 2025, the model and entrepreneur turned heads in New York wearing a vintage turquoise Gucci dress from the spring/summer 1998 collection, created during Tom Ford’s era at Gucci.

Turquoise dresses: the trend set to define summer 2026
This shade has also found its place on the runways, primarily in the form of dresses. In Christopher Esber’s spring/summer 2026 collection, the turquoise dress appears in an asymmetric, sheer iteration that stays true to the brand’s sensual aesthetic. Meanwhile, the Courrèges show opened with a series of short, straight-cut dresses in Tiffany Blue. These two completely different approaches demonstrate how this trend works equally well for casual daytime looks and elegant evening outfits for special occasions or summer parties.

However, the fashion house that has contributed most to the rise of this trend is undoubtedly Jacquemus. In the Le Palmier collection, the Marseille-born designer presented a turquoise-blue dress with exaggerated volumes and a sculptural silhouette. At the spring/summer 2027 show, titled Le Bonheur, the shade also appeared on several other pieces, including swim briefs, ballet flats, and a petticoat. However, it was look 44, worn by model Awar Odhiang, that attracted the most attention: a maxi bustier dress in this radiant shade, paired with shoes and a long headscarf in the same color.
