Simon McDermott recently joined H10 Hotels as Sales and Promotions Manager for the UK. Travel Gossip found out a bit more about him…

The next place I’ll visit is… Barcelona.
The last place I visited was… Morocco.
The worst thing I drank abroad was… mamajuana [the spiced alcoholic beverage made with rum, red wine, honey, tree bark and herbs] in the Dominican Republic. It’s crazy stuff.
My bucket-list destination is… Cappadocia.
Born and brought up in… the glorious city of Manchester.
Live in… Cheadle Hulme – much posher!
The best piece of advice I’ve been given is… do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

In my new role, I’ll be… heading up and down the highways and byways of the UK keeping all you fabulous travel agents up to date on all things H10, whether at an event in a town near you, popping by in store or grabbing a coffee with homeworkers in a funky coffee shop and maybe taking a cheeky fam trip or two to see our amazing hotels.
What attracted me to the job was… the variety of smashing destinations H10 has hotels in and the exciting plans that lie ahead.
The first thing I notice about a person when I meet them is… their smile.
If I won the Lottery tomorrow, I would… set Max and Lexi up for life.
